Pure Power Tech is supporting a collaborative research project led by Queensland University of Technology (QUT), focused on the development of advanced polymer membrane materials. The project aims to explore functional polymers and structural control techniques that enable applications in environmental systems and clean technologies.
The research team has established a foundational material system combining both hydrophilic and hydrophobic polymers. Initial membrane fabrication trials using phase separation methods have been successfully conducted, demonstrating stable membrane formation under controlled conditions. Various support materials, including metal mesh substrates, are also being evaluated for their mechanical compatibility and structural impact.
Moving forward, the project will continue with parameter optimisation and application testing to better understand the interaction between material systems and environmental variables.
As an industry partner, Pure Power Tech supports the advancement of applied materials research and remains committed to identifying scalable technologies with long-term impact. This collaboration reflects our broader mission to foster innovation in clean energy, water processing, and next-generation material systems.
